Beijing, February 21 (Youth.cn) - On February 19th, 2024, in Urumqi, Xinjiang, at Wang Ge's Xinjiang Intangible Cultural Heritage Paper-cut Studio on the Grand Bazaar Pedestrian Street, a pair of skillful hands and a sheet of red paper come to life with the fluttering of scissors, creating vivid works that bring forth a festive and harmonious New Year atmosphere.

Wang Ge, 65 years old this year, is an inheritor of the Xinjiang intangible cultural heritage paper-cut craft. In her studio, the walls are covered with a colorful array of paper-cuts, rich in content, lifelike, and diverse in form. Photo/ VCG
