【#Tech24H】On October 29, at the Tencent Global Digital Ecosystem Summit, Tencent officially announced the launch of Buddy One, a cross-application AI collaboration system for individual users. Built on WorkBuddy as its workbench, the system interconnects office collaboration products including Tencent Docs, Tencent Meeting, Tencent Drive and ima. It shares the WorkBuddy Agent base and features unified accounts and a shared point pool. According to the official release, users can access the service once they update the WorkBuddy PC client to version 5.9.0 or higher and link their accounts. Memory sharing will be rolled out in subsequent updates, and more products will be onboard gradually. Once Buddy One account interconnection takes effect, users will not need repeated authorization or manual copy-pasting of context while using WorkBuddy. Users can simply voice their requirements, and WorkBuddy will retrieve and integrate authorized documents, meeting records and knowledge base content to generate source-cited responses.
