【#Tech24H】A Bloomberg reporter has revealed that Apple’s first touchscreen MacBook Pro will officially debut on Wednesday, October 28, US time. This product will not only introduce touch input to the Mac product line but also adopt an OLED display and a new interaction interface, becoming another example of Apple’s product strategy shift in recent years. The new model will be available in 14-inch and 16-inch sizes. Its overall appearance is similar to current models, but the body is lighter, and it introduces an OLED screen and the familiar Dynamic Island design to the Mac product line for the first time. This touch capability does not turn the Mac into a touch-centric device; the keyboard and trackpad remain the primary input methods, while touch only handles scrolling, zooming, panning, swiping, and other operations better suited to direct tapping. Apple is expected to emphasize at the launch event that it is not a fusion product of Mac and iPad. Its price is expected to be significantly higher than the current high-end MacBook Pro, which starts at $2,499.[ By Zhang Liyan | Tang Ruohan ]
