【#Tech24H】US. electric vehicle company Lucid and European ridesharing platform Bolt jointly announced a strategic partnership at local time. The two companies plan to deploy at least 25,000 Robotaxis in multiple cities across European countries. The Robotaxis will be built on Lucid’s upcoming midsizevehicle platform, adopt NVIDIA’s Hyperion development platform and reference architecture, and comply with SAE Level 4 autonomousdriving standards. Bolt will help define vehicle requirements, alongside software, safety and passengerexperience parameters for the Robotaxis. In addition, Bolt will construct fleet infrastructure and operating systems, and forge citylevel partnerships required for largescale rollout. Bolt plans to own and operate the Lucid Robotaxi fleet. Should the plan come to fruition, this will mark Europe’slargestever autonomoustaxi deployment to date.
