【#Tech24H】Half a month after Kimi K3 went opensource, Alibaba has joined the ranks of players opensourcing ultralargescale models. On August 13, Alibaba’s Qwen officially released the model weights of Qwen3.82.4T. Beyond being a 2.4T largeparameter model, this opensource release holds additional significance for Alibaba. While Qwen has opensourced multiple flagship models in the past, it has long maintained two product lines: openweight models on one hand, and larger closedsource Max models on the other. Qwen3.82.4T marks Qwen’s first Maxscale model with open weights. For this release, no readytouse model checkpoint is available yet. Only basic architecture details, posttraining materials, inference infrastructure, and opensource guidelines have been opensourced. [ By Zhang Liyan ]
