
【#Tech24H】On May 29, AI firm Anthropic released its flagship large language model, Claude Opus 4.8, which focuses on improving agentic coding, multidomain reasoning, and knowledge work capabilities. While keeping pricing unchanged, the new version delivers performance enhancements and cost reductions, providing new support for the realworld application of AI technologies. According to Anthropic, Claude Opus 4.8 is a minor iterative upgrade that centers on userperceivable practical improvements. Compared to its predecessor Opus 4.7, the new version significantly reduces the rate of concealed code defects, proactively flags uncertainty, reduces unsupported outputs, and demonstrates greater stability in complex multistep tasks.
