【#Tech24H】Hubei EHawk Technology Group Co., Ltd. has released China’s first “flying robot”, which, along with the “EagleFly Flycar” eVTOL, is now available for preorder. The EHawk eVTOL features an orange paint scheme and looks like a miniaturized version of the EHawk Flycar. It is still powered by ducted fans, providing good safety and stability. A bendable robotic arm is mounted on the lower part of the flying robot, with end effectors that can be different types of grippers or dexterous hands. In a demonstration video provided by EHawk Technology, the flying robot equipped with a gripper could clean windows on highrise buildings, and the version with a dexterous hand could even lift a takeout box from the balcony of a residential building. The flying robot is designed primarily for closeup operations at height. It has subcentimeter distance sensing capability, a payload capacity of 8 kg, and can withstand level6 winds.
