【#Tech24H】On May 7, Zhongke Kuyuan Technology (Wuhan) Co., Ltd. officially unveiled the world’s first dual-core neutral atom quantum computer, the “Hanyuan 2”. The entire system adopts a standard rack-mounted integrated design, requiring only a compact laser cooling system to operate, with total power consumption below 7 kW. It eliminates the need for complex cryogenic refrigeration environments and can be rapidly deployed in ordinary indoor settings, significantly lowering the application threshold and deployment cost of quantum computing technology. Built on independently controllable neutral atom array technology, the quantum computer innovatively integrates 100 rubidium-87 atoms and 100 rubidium-85 atoms to form a dual-core collaborative computing system with a total of 200 qubits. For the first time globally, it advances quantum processors from a “single-core” to a “dual-core” architecture, achieving an original breakthrough in the core architecture of quantum computing.
