【#Tech24H】Recently, the App Store page of Doubao published a notice about a paid version of its service, stating that Doubao will introduce a paid tier offering additional valueadded services beyond the free version. At present, no related paid options or features have appeared in the Doubao product, and the plan details are still in the testing phase. According to an official response from Doubao, the paid features will focus primarily on complex tasks and productivity scenarios, such as PPT generation, data analysis, and film & television production. In early April, Volcano Engine announced that the average daily token usage of the Doubao large model had exceeded 120 trillion in March of this year, doubling over the previous three months and representing a 1000fold increase compared to its initial launch in May 2024. This indicates that the pressure on the free model has reached a tipping point.
