Beijing, April 13 (Youth.cn) - On March 31, 2026, the patient with high paraplegia for nine years saw a turning point. On the same day, the GCP (Good Clinical Practice) multi-center clinical trial project of the “Beinao-1” intelligent brain-computer system was officially launched at the hospital. After about four hours of surgery, the patient is expected to regain fine motor functions of the right hand such as grasping, holding, and pinching, enabling independent drinking and eating. This surgery also marked that “Beinao-1” had moved from early exploratory research to a new stage of standardized, large-scale verification of clinical application effects. Photo/CFP
