【#Tech24H】The Beijing Academy of Artificial Intelligence (BAAI), in collaboration with Xuanji Intelligent and ModelBest, has released RoboClaw, an embodied AI operating system. It claims to have broken down the barriers between AI semantic understanding and real-world robot task execution, enabling robots to autonomously complete end-to-end tasks through natural language interaction. Without any need for coding or professional maintenance, users can simply issue task goals via natural interactions such as voice or text, and the robot will plan and execute both short-horizon and long-horizon tasks. Meanwhile, through system-level safety detection, visual perception, object recognition and other services, the robot performs stable and reliable physical operations, significantly lowering the barrier to using and deploying embodied AI robots. RoboClaw also supports cross-embodiment switching and rapid integration, allowing multiple types of robot hardware to work together, so that robots of different forms and from different manufacturers are “ready to use out of the box”.
