Beijing, July 9 (Youth.cn) - On July 8, 2025, at Honbaokang Goji Berry Plantation, in Yanuan Town, Linze County, Zhangye City, Gansu Province, villagers were harvesting the ripening goji berries amid favorable weather conditions in July.
Linze County in Gansu Province straddles the periphery of the Badain Jaran Desert, where desert and Gobi landscapes account for over two-thirds of its total territory. In recent years, the county has strategically positioned goji berry plantations as a key initiative to combat desertification, ameliorate highly alkaline soils, and boost farmer incomes. Today, Linze County has secured dual achievements in ecological conservation and economic returns. Photo/CFP
