Beijing, April 29 (Youth.cn) - On April 28th, 2024, in Yichang City, Hubei Province, several Yangtze River dolphins were seen surfing and frolicking in the waters of the second river near Gezhouba Dam. The recent water regulation in the Three Gorges Reservoir Area has raised the water level at the Yichang station of the Yangtze River to 43 meters. The suitable water level and temperature have attracted migratory fish schools to the Gezhouba waters, leading to unusual activity of the Yangtze River dolphins, with many spotted surfing and playing in the waters near the second river of Gezhouba Dam. Photo/ VCG
