Lang Lang has held a solo instrumental concert in the Great Hall of the People yesterday. All 6000 tickets sold out. 

Lang Lang has held a solo instrumental concert in the Great Hall of the People yesterday. All 6000 tickets sold out.

A long line of fans has sprawled from the Great Hall of the People last night with fans eager to enjoy Lang Lang's concert. During the show, Lang Lang had invited his father play alto fiddle along with him. They have performed the famous Chinese song "Horse race". At the end of the song, Lang Lang's piano teacher Zhu Yafen and Zhao Bingguo join him on piano. The six hands jumped on the keys together in the wonderful composition "Rachmaninov waltz"producing an inspired climax.

Lang Lang says he is no longer a teenage talent. "I shall make classical music to be enjoyed and accepted by more people. I'll also play more Chinese songs on my albums."

Lang Lang's new music video will be shot in the Forbidden City. He will also play the piano in the Spring Festival Show. Lang Lang is excited about joining the show. "This is an important milestone in my career."
