Choummaly Saygnasone, secretary general of the Lao People's Revolutionary Party Central Committee and president of the Lao People's Democratic Republic, will visit China from Aug. 9 to 16.
Spokesman Li Jun with the International Department of the Communist Party of China (CPC) Central Committee, made the announcement here on Monday.
Choummaly will pay the working visit as guest of Chinese President Hu Jintao, who is also general secretary of the CPC Central Committee.
