Chinese PresidentXi Jinpingon Friday held a phone conversation with his French counterpart, Emmanuel Macron, stressing China's persistence on the denuclearization of the Korean Peninsula.

　　Xi said the Korean Peninsula issue can only be solved through peaceful means, including dialogue and negotiation.
