Photo List Intangible heritage "tiger buns" greet Dragon Boat Festival

Beijing, May 29 (Youth.cn) On May 28, 2025, residents across Yuncheng and Linfen in southern Shanxi Province crafted vibrant tiger-shaped steamed buns (Jinnan Huamo) in anticipation of the upcoming Dragon Boat Festival. Using premium local wheat, artisans molded lifelike standing, crouching, leaping, and mother-cub tiger buns - symbols of ancestral worship, prayers for prosperity, and national peace. Jinnan Huamo Dough Sculpting, listed as a National Intangible Cultural Heritage, remains integral to local rituals, festivals, and ceremonies. Photo/CFP
