Iran sees foreign consultancy helpful to promote exports
Iranian government should employ foreign consultants to properly introduce global markets to domestic producers, Iran's new minister of industries, mining and trade said on Wednesday.
The move can serve as a form of subsidy the government can grant to producers, Mohammad Shariatmadari said.
He referred to the dearth of incentives as a key impediment to export promotion in Iran, saying that the new policy is instrumental to encourage and promote exports.
Shariatmadari made the remarks during a ceremony held on Tuesday to mark the minister's inauguration.
