【#Tech24H】At 07:33 Beijing Time on July 24, 2026, China conducted a successful launch of five satellites via the Kinetica 1 Y15 launch vehicle from the Dongfeng Commercial Space Innovation Pilot Zone. The satellites, namely Tianyi 48, Gande-1 01, Xiguang II 03, Jitianxing A-04 and Yinglong Fengguang-1, reached their pre-designated orbits as planned, and the launch mission achieved full success. Specifically, the Xiguang II 03 satellite is fitted with an onboard intelligent AI computing payload hosting multiple spaceborne large AI models deployed in orbit. The Jitianxing A-04 satellite carries an embodied AI model, supporting autonomous status health management, independent mission scheduling, command generation and in-orbit data processing. This satellite is additionally equipped with an MXGPU-based intelligent computing payload, onboard routers and laser communication terminals. To date, the Kinetica 1 launch vehicle has delivered 110 satellites to space with an aggregate payload mass above 16 tons. It is the sole Chinese private commercial launch vehicle to have launched over 100 satellites in total.
