【#Tech24H】On July 20, AMD gave the media its first look at Helios, its inaugural rackscale AI system. The system integrates GPUs, CPUs, networking, and a software platform, with largescale deployment expected to begin in 2026. Microsoft has become the latest customer to announce its adoption of Helios, joining Meta, OpenAI, Oracle, and India’s Tata Consultancy Services (TCS), which had previously confirmed their deployment plans. AMD stated that Helios will be a key product in its challenge to Nvidia’s AI computing platform, and projected that its data center AI business will contribute tens of billions of dollars in annual revenue starting in 2027.
