【#Tech24H】On July 9, on its 11th anniversary, Insta360 announced its product vision: to create the Cameraman, a photography robot. According to Insta360, Cameraman is not a “final product” that will appear out of nowhere in the future, nor is it limited to a specific physical form. Essentially, it is a concept of an autonomous shooting agent: it flexibly adapts to the most suitable physical carrier according to different scene needs, enabling automatic composition, capture, and final output, so that users are freed from the operational aspects of shooting and can fully immerse themselves in the moment without missing any highlights. In Insta360’s Cameraman system, the AI imaging system serves as the brain and central nervous system; the camera lens acts as the eyes; audio technology and microphones serve as the ears; and gimbals and drones are the moving torso. The panoramic drone Yingling A1 is regarded by Insta360 as one of the early prototypes of Cameraman, integrating the visual brain, eyes, and torso, and capable of autonomous shooting in the air.[ By Zhang Liyan | Tang Ruohan ]
