【#Tech24H】An international team of astronomers has, for the first time, mapped the climate of Earth-like planets located about 39 light-years from the Solar System. Based on observations from the James Webb Space Telescope, the study focused on the two innermost planets of the famous TRAPPIST-1 system. By observing continuously for 60 hours, covering the planets’ full orbits, the results show that the day-night temperature difference on both planets exceeds 500 degrees Celsius, suggesting that they likely lack any significant atmosphere.
