【#Tech24H】At 6:51 on March 26, the Long March-2D carrier rocket ignited and lifted off from the Taiyuan Satellite Launch Center, subsequently delivering the Siwei Gaojing-2 05 and Siwei Gaojing-2 06 satellites into their preset orbits. The launch mission was a complete success. After entering orbits, the satellites will form a coordinated "four-satellite, two-group" network with the already in-orbit Siwei Gaojing-2 03 and Siwei Gaojing-2 04 satellites. This will significantly enhance imaging capabilities, double data acquisition capacity, and halve the revisit period, enabling faster and denser global observation coverage. This effectively supports the establishment of a high-precision global geographic information framework and provides high-quality, efficient, stable, and accurate spatiotemporal information services for national economic development and the construction of a Digital China.
