On January 25, Galbot stated that it has officially become the designated embodied AI model robot on the CCTV’s 2026 Spring Festival Gala. According to previous reports, a group of embodied AI companies have been competing for sponsorship qualifications on the CCTV 2026 Year of the Horse Spring Festival Gala, with around five such companies ultimately securing spots to appear on the show. Additionally, smart cleaning robot companies like Dreame and MOVA have also confirmed their participation in the Year of the Horse Gala through sponsorship agreements. With more humanoid robot companies set to appear, 2026 is expected to see intensified brand competition within China's robotics and embodied AI industry.
