【#Tech24H】Scientists from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute have collaborated to successfully synthesize the natural fungal molecule “Verticillin A" in the laboratory for the first time. Initially discovered over 50 years ago, this molecule has attracted significant attention for its notable anti-cancer potential, but its complex structure had previously prevented artificial synthesis. This breakthrough is expected to open a new pathway for the development of anti-cancer drugs.
