【#Tech24H】Microsoft PowerToys 0.97 will introduce custom themes for its Command Palette, supporting personalized settings such as background images and color filters. The functionality is comparable to macOS’s Spotlight and is expected to launch in December. This update will allow users to set custom background images or colors beyond dark and light modes, as well as adjust blur intensity and brightness. Product Manager Niels Laute mentioned that they will consider optimizing the speed of opening and closing animations to improve the user experience. Previously, the Command Palette feature received feedback about slow animations, and this update aims to address the issue through configurable settings.
