【#Tech24H】Scientists at Monash University in Australia have developed a bandage-like wearable patch. This flexible patch measure approximately 10 to 14 square centimeters, which can accurately monitor fetal movements such as rolling, stretching, and kicking. In clinical trials involving 59 pregnant women, the device achieved over 90% accuracy in identifying these movements. The patch offers a new approach for safer at-home pregnancy monitoring. The team emphasized that this technology does not replace clinical assessments but rather complements standard care, enabling early intervention when fetal movement patterns change.
