【#Tech24H】Waymo announced on Tuesday that it will launch its autonomous ride-hailing service in new cities across Texas and Florida in 2026. Waymo has been preparing for this 2026 expansion of its paid autonomous taxi service. The company had previously announced plans to expand to Detroit, Las Vegas, Nashville, San Diego, Washington D.C., and London, UK, by 2026. Currently, Waymo offers paid autonomous ride-hailing services in Austin, San Francisco, Phoenix, Atlanta, and Los Angeles. Furthermore, Waymo has begun testing autonomous vehicles in New York City and Tokyo, Japan.
