First AI Controller Validated for Satellite Attitude Adjustment In Orbit

【#Tech24H】Scientists at the University of Würzburg in Germany have developed the world's first artificial intelligence (AI) in-orbit satellite attitude controller, which has been validated on a nanosatellite named InnoCube. Compared to traditional methods, this innovative solution demonstrates significant advantages, automating the parameter debugging process that previously took months and enabling the controller to autonomously adapt to real environmental changes, completely eliminating the need for manual calibration. This breakthrough marks a critical step forward in the autonomy of aerospace systems.
