【#Tech24H】The Beijing Innovation Center of Humanoid Robotics announced the full open-sourcing of the embodied intelligent VLM model—Pelican-VL 1.0. The model covers parameter scales of 7B and 72B, making it the "largest open-source embodied multimodal large model to date" and the most powerful embodied intelligent VLM model globally. According to tests, its performance surpasses comparable GPT-5 models by 15.79% and outperforms Google's Gemini series by 19.25%. It also exceeds domestic models such as Qwen and InternVL, establishing itself as the strongest open-source embodied multimodal large model currently available.
