【#Tech24H】Meta AI's FAIR team has released its latest achievement in automatic speech recognition (ASR): Omnilingual ASR. This model suite provides ASR capabilities for over 1,600 languages. By contributing a small number of their own speech samples, people worldwide can help extend Omnilingual ASR to new languages. The model aims to make high-quality speech-to-text technology accessible to the most underrepresented language communities through a universal transcription system.
