Tooth fossil rewrites linear narrative of human evolution
【Tech 24H】A team from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas, discovered that Australopithecus and early Homo species coexisted in the same region between 2.6 million and 2.8 million years ago. This finding challenges the traditional view, suggesting that human evolution did not follow a single linear model from ape to human but rather resembled a branched evolutionary tree with multiple parallel lineages.
