【Tech 24H】Recently, at Zhuonai Lake in the depths of the 4,800-meter-altitude Hoh Xil depopulate zone, a robotic Tibetan antelope, which was based on the X30 robotic dog (quadruped robot) of DEEP Robotics, successfully sneak in a migrating herd. Via 2km remote control, the robot achieved disturbance-free observation across complex terrains like snowfields and swamps. Its lifelike appearance and AI-driven capabilities prevent wildlife disturbance while featuring 85kg payload capacity, 4-hour endurance, and extreme terrain adaptability. This marks embodied AI robots’ debut in plateau ecological monitoring, expanding from prior applications in inspection and rescue scenarios.
