【Tech 24H】The Jiangxi Academy of Forestry, in partnership with the Jiangxi Forestry Science and Technology Experimental Center, pioneered China's first chromosome-level genome assembly forOrmosia henryi Prain using PacBio HiFi sequencing and high-throughput chromosome conformation capture. This genome fills a critical gap in genetic research of the species and provides molecular foundations for studying its medicinal biosynthesis pathways and conserving related endangered Ormosia species.
