Breakthrough in Electrochemical Uranium Extraction from Seawater
【Tech 24H】Southwest University of Science and Technology developed a novel integrated electrode material with synergistic coordination-reduction interface. Experimental results show the material achieves an electrochemical uranium extraction capacity of 2.65 mg per gram per day in actual seawater, which is the highest reported performance among peer technologies globally, offering new possibilities for uranium resource development.
