Ton-Class Unmanned Aircraft Completes First Offshore Platform Delivery
China’s self-developed 2-ton electric vertical takeoff and landing (eVTOL) aircraft Kairi Ou has completed its first material delivery to a distant offshore oil platform. Flying from Shenzhen, it reached the platform 150 km away in 58 minutes, significantly improving efficiency over traditional ship transport. This breakthrough not only innovates offshore supply logistics but also marks a critical step in China’s low-altitude land-sea logistics applications.
