Nine Chinese Sites Certified as "International Wetland Cities"
China Maintains Top Global Position in Total Certifications
On July 24, at the opening of the 15th Meeting of the Conference of the Contracting Parties (COP15) to the Convention on Wetlands in Victoria Falls, Zimbabwe, nine sites in China were certified as "International Wetland Cities." This brings China's total number of certified wetland cities to 22, maintaining its position as the global leader.
