Beijing, February 14 (Youth.cn) - On February 13, 2025, in the Wolong Lake Ecological Area of Kangping County, Shenyang City, Liaoning Province, although the lake surface is still covered with ice and snow, a large number of migratory birds, including mallards, have arrived here, adding vitality to the wetland in early spring. As an important stopover on the migratory bird route, the Wolong Lake attracts tens of thousands of migratory birds to rest and forage every year, and this year’s migration season seems to have started earlier than in previous years.
