Beijing, February 8 (Youth.cn) - On February 7, 2025, after the Spring Festival, tourism is still blooming in the Xishuangbanna Dai Autonomous Prefecture, Yunnan Province. At the Xishuangbanna Tropical Botanical Garden of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, a steady stream of visitors choosing off-peak spring outflows after the grandest holiday of the nation fills the park. Exploring Yunnan's "Plant Kingdom", tourists from across China find themselves captivated by exotic flowers and tropical rain-forests.

The botanical garden, housing over 13,000 living plant species across 39 specialized plant sections, holds multiple national records as China's largest botanical garden in terms of area, species diversity, and specialized garden categories. It also ranks as the world's leader in outdoor preserved plant species and publicly displayed plant groups.
