Beijing, February 6 (Youth.cn) - On February 5, 2025, at the Anding District Government Square in Dingxi City, Gansu Province, a Shehuo troupe from the local Kangjiazhuang Village in Chankou Town delivered a spectacular folk performance. The day marked the eighth day of the first month in the traditional Chinese calendar. Following local Chinese New Year traditions, the Shehuo troupes begin touring through urban streets starting from the seventh day of the Chinese calendar, bringing folk culture into the city to celebrate the Spring Festival and welcome the upcoming Lantern Festival.
