Beijing, January 7 (Youth.cn) - Laba Festival falls on eighth of the 12th month of the lunar Chinese calendar. It is originally a Buddhism festival, and gradually becomes a folk festival. In north regions in China, a proverb describes the Laba Festival: "Kids, don't be greedy, the Spring Festival will be soon after the Laba Festival." Laba Festival is a prelude of the Spring Festival.
