On September 12, the 2024 China International Fair for Trade in Services opened in Beijing. Over 80 countries and international organizations participated in the exhibitions, with more than 450 enterprises attending in person.
On the opening day, thematic forums were held to highlight the importance of high-level openness to the outside world. China's service trade has been growing rapidly, with knowledge-intensive services emerging as a key growth area. This year marks the first time a multinational exhibition was independently organized, with France serving as the guest of honor.
The achievements showcased in service trade reflect a "new and specialized" character. China has provided conveniences in areas such as payment, embodying the theme of "Global Service, Mutual Benefit, and Sharing."
