Beijing, September 9 (Youth.cn) - Aerial photo of installed photovoltaic panels and tubular piles of an 850-thousand-kilowatt photovoltaic power generation project was taken in Binzhou, Shandong Province on September 8th. These days, the project with 19 thousand mu of sea area occupation is constructing in a fastened schedule. As the first authentic-right-defined PV project that using sea area, it was listed into the third batch of big-scale wind power photovoltaic power generation base construction list and will be connected to the grid and put into use in the end of the year. After put into use, it will become one of the biggest single new energy projects in Shandong Province, with 1.269 billion kWh annual green energy supply and 385.8 thousand tons of annual reduction of standard coal. Based on its coastal tidal flat resource, the project has PV panels on the tidal flat to apply "fishing-photovoltaic complementation" and "salt-photovoltaic complementation" with the purpose of improving utilization rate of the area and promoting high quality low-carbon green development in Binzhou.
