On the evening of September 5, Beijing, China National Convention Center, member of the Political Bureau of the Communist Party of China Central Committee, director of the Office of the Central Working Committee on Foreign Affairs and Foreign Minister Wang Yi (center), together with Senegalese Foreign Minister Yacine Fall (left) and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of the Congo Jean-Claude Gakosso (right), met with Chinese and foreign journalists to comprehensively introduce the outcomes of the 2024 Summit of the Forum on China-Africa Cooperation.
Wang Yi said that during the Beijing Summit, China had established or upgraded strategic partnerships with a total of 30 countries, and that China and 53 African strategic partners stood side by side and would certainly play a greater role in promoting the well-being of the people of China and Africa and maintaining world peace and stability.
