Beijing, May 16 (Youth.cn) - On May 15th, 2024, in the early summer, herds of land-dwelling wild vertebrates such as Tibetan wild asses and Tibetan antelopes encountered each other while foraging and strolling on their migration routes within the Hoh Xil National Nature Reserve.
In recent years, with significant achievements in biodiversity conservation in Yushu Prefecture of Qinghai Province, an increased awareness of ecological and environmental protection among society, and the deepening of related conservation measures, the numbers of Tibetan wild asses and Tibetan antelopes in the Hoh Xil National Nature Reserve have been steadily increasing. Along the Qinghai-Tibet railway and highways, scenes of herds of Tibetan wild asses and Tibetan antelopes foraging and frolicking have once again become a common sight. Photo/ VCG
