Beijing, April 8 (Youth.cn) - On April 7th, 2024, in Fuzhou, students from the Fifth Central Primary School in Gulou District were experiencing the craft of making Nanhou Street lanterns, a provincial-level intangible cultural heritage project.
In recent years, the Fifth Central Primary School in Gulou District of Fuzhou has focused on the innovation and upgrading of traditional intangible cultural heritage. By adopting an interdisciplinary and project-based learning approach, the school has developed a series of distinctive cultural courses integrating "lanterns + dance, music, fine arts, technology", and has creatively choreographed lantern dances and shows. These efforts deeply explore the connotations of traditional culture, allowing children to enjoy the fun of intangible cultural heritage and strive to become inheritors of "Fuzhou culture". Photo/ VCG
