On the afternoon of March 3, the Winter Paralympic torch relay started in Beijing. 21 torchbearers from the International Paralympic Committee (IPC) and the China Disabled Persons’ Federation (CDPF) carried out the closed-loop torch relay. The torch was once again lit in the "Double Olympic City".
