【#Tech24H】On November 5, at the Forum on Cooperation for Innovation and Development in Humanoid Robots and Embodied AI Industry of the 9th Hongqiao International Economic Forum, Wang Xingxing, founder and chairman of Unitree Robotics, said that autonomous robot combat was a concept Unitree proposed back in 2025, and more than a year has passed since then. One interesting observation is that combat performances are now less entertaining than they were last year. The reason is that robots used to have poor stability, which created a stronger sense of confrontation in fights. Today, robot stability has improved dramatically; they can stand steadily no matter how they get hit, with far fewer falls. At the forum, Wang Xingxing introduced Unitree’s fully autonomous robot combat powered by an end-to-end world model. The robot captures visual footage in real time, and the model directly carries out reasoning and decision-making. Wang also pointed out that Unitree has been advancing the self-evolution closed loop for robot AI models, and he believes this loop is highly valuable.
