CEO Sam Altman has disclosed progress on the related project, which will focus on developing the robot’s intelligent system as its core research direction. According to Altman’s forecast, OpenAI is expected to unveil an impressive demonstration prototype in 2027, but it will still take several years for humanoid robots to truly enter public practical application.
