【#Tech24H】In less than 16 hours, LandSpace and Orienspace successively sent a total of 18 Qianfan Constellation networking satellites into predetermined orbits, marking that domestic private commercial rocket companies have started largescale participation in China’s satelliteinternet constellation construction. At 6:00 on September 16, Orienspace’s Gravity1 Y3 launch vehicle lifted off off the eastern coast of Shanghai, sending eight Qianfan Constellation networking satellites and one EUHT technology test satellite into predetermined orbits. Just the previous day at 14:26, LandSpace’s Zhuque2 Enhanced Y7 launch vehicle successfully launched ten Qianfan Constellation networking satellites from the Dongfeng Commercial Aerospace Innovation Test Site. At present, the inorbit count of Qianfan Constellation satellites has risen to 256. These two consecutive days of launches signify that privatesector rockets have begun undertaking satelliteinternet constellation networking tasks in batches.
